Just face it, gamers who played FE were mainly wanted to beat the story mode of the game because it had rpg gamplay value in it, which makes the game so much addicting to play. Nothing more than that.
This extra multiplayer mode is not worth it at all, not only it was mechanically imbalanced, but the whole concept of it was no fun at all. I could say the gameplay was no different than having a dual between 2 squad of pokemons on random maps. It's ridiculously stupid.
