Basic Guide for HQ Cheese and countering strategy for current FOW GL maps

I General
The following maps are not cheese-friendly and an early rush should not be possible.

1vs1 Issus(Far away enemy HQ+bboat protection/quick infantry reinforcement)
1vs1 Normandie(Far away HQ+quick infantry reinforcement; Sami can initiate a day7 HQ capture together with an APC blockade, but it can be coped with easily if detected. )
Crossfire-Ring of Forest(lander protection)
Dark Rising(bboat protection+vision on 1 base; 2P with normal CO may start a HQ capture on day6, which can be countered by day3 recon; 1P Sami using APC strategy can start the HQ capture on day6, but the opponent won't move the bboat away then)
First step into fog(backward HQ position)


For Cheese strategy unless specified 1P is usually better than 2P to perform this strategy.
Sami in usual cases has a stronger varietion, which will be discussed as well.
This guide revolves around only simple rushing tactics.

II Guide and counters
1vs1 Marengo

Cheese Guide: Day1 ONLY 1 infantry in the right base
Day2 Move the infantry aside and build an APC in the right base
Day3 Load the infantry and follow the red arrow
Day4 Follow the red arrow
Day5 Follow the red arrow and unload the infantry into the wood
Day6 APC: Follow the red arrow; Inf: start the HQ capture

Sami Version: Gernerally the same, illustrated in the blue arrows

Counter: Day3 recon from the left base
Day4, 5: Follow the green arrow and move onto HQ.

1vs1_Somme

Cheese guide: Day1 build an infantry in the bottom base;Move the bboat back to port
Day2 load the infantry into the bboat; Move the bboat to the bottom shoal and unload the infantry to the right
Day3,4,5 Follow the dark red arrow.
Day6 HQ capture

Sami Version: Sami can make a full commitment by having a day2 APC. (Saving is required) Follow the green arrow for a blockade.
2P Sami can move the starting infantry towards their HQ and get onto the APC in the full commitment part.

Counter: Day3 recon can counter the cheese of usual COs (blue arrows). To counter Sami you need to send your 1st infantry from the 3rd base to your HQ with no stop. (sky blue arrow)

1vs1_Stalingrad

Cheese Guide(Sami only): For other COs it is quite hard given the close HQ.
Sami players may save for a day2 APC, follow the green arrow and start the HQ capture on day6.

Counter: day3 recon can arrive on HQ on time

Dragons in the dark

Cheese Guide(Sami only): For other COs it is much harder given the HQ position
Sami players can use day2 APC and follow 1 of the 2 routes to start HQ capture on day5

Counter: day2 infantry following the skyblue arrow+day3 recon are enough

Misty

Cheese Guide(Sami only): All COs can perform such a cheese and start the HQ capture on day5 as 2P, but an infantry is usually ready to strike.
Sami player may follow the guide above.
It is also possible to utilize an APC from the bottom base for an extra wall on day5, which will give away your intentions however.

Counter:
day3 recon would suffice. If you go for all infantries, you will have 2 infantries able to cover your HQ, in which case the match is determined by the luck.

Splintered

Cheese Guide: Normal COs can follow the blue arrows while Sami players can use red arrows.

Counter: Day3 recon would suffice. Having an infantry on the red city during the HQ cap can counter HQ cap by normal COs. But the tactic on this map makes forementioned scenarios rare.

Stolen Seconds

Cheese Guide(Sami only): Sami can initiate an HQ cap by day5.
Counter: Order the day1-built infantry to follow the arrow to reach HQ by day4, which will not affect capture phase as well.

The Static

Cheese Guide(Sami only): There will be infantries in HQ Area and it is not advised for normal COs to perform the rush due to the low success rate.
Sami players can start the HQ cap by day6. P2 Sami players can even have an extra infantry in the region.

Counter: Send a day1-built infantry to HQ direction. If the opponent is P2 Sami send more infantries in that direction.
