Days of Ruin remake available for download

IMPORTANT!

As of 23 Aug the download link has been updated with Freewars v0.1.3, which contains an English version. This guide is officially now unnecessary.

Installation instructions:

1. Download the winRar file.
2. Extract.
3. Run the .bat file to start the game.

Registration and Login

1. Upon game start, you should arrive at the home screen:

2. Click the second button from top to go to the login screen.

3. The bottom-left button is "Register" and the bottom-right button is "Login". If you are playing for the first time, enter a username and password and click "Register" to create an account. Your account details will be saved, and in the future you can just click "Login" to login.

Main Screen

Buttons from top to bottom:
1. Single player mode
2. Multiplayer mode
3. Replays
4. Your battle record
5. Registration/login
6. Settings
7. Help

Single-player mode

1. Click "single player mode button on main screen.
2. Click the first button.
3. Select map from the list.

Multiplayer mode

Click "multiplayer mode" button on main screen to arrive at the following screen:

Buttons from top to bottom:
a. Create game. For creating a new game.
b. Continue game. For continuing an existing game.
c. Join game. For joining an open game.

In-game controls

Once you have created a single-player or multiplayer game, you will be able to access the game screen:

Click the box at the top-right to open the in-game menu.

Buttons from top to bottom:
1. Return to main screen
2. About powers
3. Analytics
4. Points (used for calculating game score, no relation to actual game)
5. Save game (this allows you to save a board state for analysis in single-player mode. Note that you can't undo or redo moves in multiplayer mode.)
6. Load game (from a previously saved board state)
7. End turn
8. (the red one) Close screen
