Map Design Class Outline

For explanation, this is a 90% finished outline for a class that was planned a long time ago on how to make top-level design maps. Unfortunately the class never materialized, but a lot of the information within is still valid. It's a lot of information without much context, and nothing in the way of helpful images or examples that would have been a big part of the class. But I suppose it's better here where someone might skim through it and learn something than hidden from the light of day.
