Why use mods in Arma 3?

Mods allow for a number of useful assets and tools not available in Arma 3 normally. These additions include new guns and vehicles, complex medical interactions, helicopter and fixed wing interfaces, additional armies, alternate fatigue systems, and more. These help to tailor our server's Arma experience towards an experience that we enjoy, and we hope you will enjoy as well.

How do I get your mods?

We use a small, free program called Play withSix to download and update our mods for Arma 3. It's easy to install and organize all of your mods using this program. It can be found at this link: Play withSix
Simply download, then select Arma 3 as your game of choice. From here, you have two options.

• Option 1:
  Log into Play withSix, then subscribe to our lite collection, or full collection

  Download the mods in either collection and you're done. It's really that simple. The only other thing you need to do is add a file to your userconfig, which is at the bottom of this post. Then just click that collection and choose "launch collection" to launch Arma 3.

• Option 2:
  If you don't want to make an account, which I recommend, there is a second, much more complex option. Make a collection in Play withSix for Arma 3. You can store all of your mods for Arma 3 for our server in this collection, and launch the game from there as well. From there, simply search for the names of the mods using the search bar, add them to your collection, and download them.

  Code:

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\userconfig

  This is necessary so that ASR and Arma 3 will interact properly. Your Arma 3 Mods will likely not launch without it.
