I recently started playing Battle for Wesnoth and thought a topic about it would fit into this forum.
It's a free, turn based strategy game with campaigns and online multiplayer.
As it's open source and the community is quite involved, there's a lot of content to explore. Very Happy

The only thing bothering me is the huge amount of randomness in the damage calculation. Suspect

Have any of you played it before?
What have been your experiences?

Maybe this topic would fit better in AW News, with all the other alternatives to AWBW.
Could a Mod move it?

Also, is there really no interest in the game?
